why travel with global besties

Sure, most women are capable of planning a vacation, but not everyone has the time or the interest in figuring out every detail.  Not only do we put things together for you. We also spare no expense and take no shortcuts. We only stay at the best places and do the best things.  I would not dare go to a country without making sure we have access to all of the things they are most known for. Our staff spends weeks going on tours to pick the best one for our group.  We will see all of the sights and eat all of the delicacies.

 

Safety in Numbers:  One of the main things women worry about while traveling is safety.  Having a large group offers safety in numbers. Along with having someone who has researched and been to the destination before.  None of our trips are blind trips. Our staff goes ahead to familiarize themselves with the destination and to pick the best activities hotels and eateries etc.

are men allowed to travel with us?

Yes, although Global Besties caters to women we do not mind you bringing your spouse or friend along.  Everything is set up with women in mind but anyone is welcome.

Can i get a refund?

Unfortunately, there are always situations and factors that may arise to cause you to cancel your trip. Global Besties always recommends that you purchase Travel Insurance (even if it's not through us) to safeguard your trip and secure your investment. Depending on the particular contract, there are usually fees and penalties involved with canceling.

All trips are non refundable a minimum of 90 days before departure unless noted differently on the itinerary/booking form.

Travel Insurance

Troubles can occur when you least anticipate them, forcing you to cancel or interrupt your trip, lose your vacation investment, and incur unplanned expenses. We strongly encourage you to consider the purchase of travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as loss of income, medical emergencies for you or someone dear to you before and during the trip, a death in the family, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. In fairness to our guests that purchase travel insurance, we strictly abide by the Refund Policy regardless of personal circumstances or circumstances beyond your control that prevent or delay your participation. Travel insurance may be purchased from a national insurer such as Travel Guard (www.TravelGuard.com, an AIG company) or type “travel insurance” into a search engine. TJFR earns a nominal fee if you purchase travel insurance through Travel Guard. Insurers usually require the purchase of coverage to occur near the date of booking. Some airlines offer travel insurance – please be aware that such insurance rarely covers more than just the airfare; you might still lose your investment in the Family Reunion package. Seriously consider purchasing from a travel insurance carrier, which usually covers the entire investment. Every year we have guests that lose their investment, because they “didn’t think it could happen to them.”

Do you offer payment plan or layaway?

Global Besties uses a Payment Schedule ("Layaway Plan") to help facilitate the payments and expense of the trips. The "Layaway" payment schedule(s) noted for each trip must be strictly followed in order to guarantee the package rates in effect when your deposit is made. Client agrees to be responsible for the layaway amount due at time of Cancellation. Failure to follow the established payment schedule may result in changes or increases to your package rate.  We will always try to work with you, but keep in mind that we are still obligated to pay the Hotel/Cruise/Airline at set dates. On certain trips there may be a late charge added (not to exceed $25 per month) after final payment is due. The worst case scenario is a person could lose their room if they have not kept up with the payment plan and then would be refunded whatever is left after the cancellation penalty and administrative costs are tallied. There is no set "Grace Period" since each Travel Contract is different.

 

Payment of deposit confirms your acceptance of this policy. All rates are effective today and subject to change until a deposit is received.

What if i'm traveling alone?

Getting a roommate is your responsibility. We usually have several people on each trip who don't/cant find a roommate. Global Besties will always try to match you with someone with the same demographic information: Sex/Age/Location/Smoker vs Non Smoker/Early riser vs Late Riser.  

We encourage ladies to come even if you are alone but it is your responsibility to let us know that you need to be paired.  Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can pair you with the best match for you. Please do not book your trip and expect us to notice that you are traveling solo.  Shoot us an email or add a note at time of purchase.

If you are traveling with a friend and she drops out don’t worry.  Just send us an email and we will pair you with someone else whenever possible.  We look forward to meeting you and having you join our family of besties!

That's a personal choice. Most places take American currency and you can probably avoid the high conversion fees by just using American Dollars. Besides, if you don't spend it all, you have to pay to convert the money back when you return.

By sending this form in, you agree to not hold Global Besties (or any other Global Besties entity), responsible for any errors or omissions relating to this event. We strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance during your travels.
