OUR TIPS:

We recommend that you have both US currency and Mexican Pesos for your trip.  It is best to do your currency exchange at the airport before leaving the US so that you don’t forget it once you arrive in Mexico.  

We also suggest that you make a copy of your passport and bring them with you.  

It's a good idea to write down the address and phone number of the US embassy and of your hotel to keep with you in case of emergencies.
